CAMPING IS CLOSED FOR 2010.
We had another successful year of Camping at June Jam. Everyone had a good time. Jay even got in the dunking booth and was dunked by several of the camping members. We know they enjoyed that.
Camping requests will begin when tickets go on sale for the 33rd June Jam (2011).
Thank you for your interest in camping at June Jam! The Camping Committee strives to create a safe and fun camping environment for all June Jam members and staff. In the past, everyone in the camping areas has had a great time while supporting a great cause.
CAMPING RESERVATIONS ARE THRU JUNE JAM ONLY!
This year, all camping forms must be received by 6/16/2010!!!
When the ticket forms get mailed out, remember to check the box that asks if you are interested in camping. A camping form will be returned to you with your tickets. Complete the form and send it back in!!!
Do not procrastinate on returning your form! Last year, we had to turn people away as we completely filled the campground by the first week of May! In the year before, we filled the campground by Memorial Day. Once we have received enough camping forms to fill the campground, all extras will be returned.
You must submit a camping form in order to be assigned a camp site.
One camping form = one camping site.
Camping forms are returned with your tickets when you check the box on your ticket form that indicates you are interested in camping.
Please, remember the following:
- CAMPING RESERVATIONS ARE THRU JUNE JAM ONLY!
- Camp sites are assigned in advance and require a camping form to be submitted.
- Camping forms must be submitted by 6/16. No form = No campsite. This is strictly enforced.
- Do not send your forms to the campground!!!! June Jam Camping Committee handles the campground for the weekend.
- If you do not hear from the Camping Committee and have paid for camping, you have a site. There is no need to panic! If you include an email address on your camping form, you will receive a confirmation message from the committee informing you that you have a campsite. If we cannot read the address, we cannot send the email.
- To avoid confusion about campsite assignments, we do not give out the site numbers until check-in. The problems this causes can be enormous. Camp site assignments may change for the following reasons:
- The campsites are shuffled to keep groups together.
- The campground often has sites designed as permanent/seasonal that are not available to June Jam.
- Site preferences are taken into consideration but cannot always be done because of the above two situations.
- Please do not request a particular campsite. We have sites that are not available to us. A site you may have had in the past is not always available to us year to year. The campground uses different sites for seasonal customers. We don't know about these unavailable sites until a few days before June Jam. The other side of this issue is the services available on a site. If you request a site that has sewer and do not use/pay for it, we will use the site for a camper that needs/pays for the service connections. We try to accomodate particular site requests when we can, but there are situations that arise that creates issues where we cannot accomodate your requests.
- If you are camping with a group, make sure to mention that on the form. When we start assigning campsites, we code groups so that they are kept together during any form of shuffling.
- If you make arrangements to camp on nights prior to 6/19, please be sure to find out what site you will be on for the weekend. We try to handle this issue in order to avoid having to move a group or ask you to move to a different site. (Please note that camping prior to 6/19 is not covered by the fees paid to June Jam. Nights other than 6/19 + 6/20 are between you and the campground. If you camp on a site that you are not supposed to be on, you will be asked to relocate to the correct site.)
- There are no check-ins on Saturday. The parking lot group will make you park in the general parking areas as no vehicles are allowed past the stage areas.
On the day of check-in (June 18, 2010), you will need to make sure you have the following with you:
- Tickets - Forgetting these just ruins your day and ours. You must have the tickets with you. No exceptions!
- Identification - This helps us confirm you are the rightful owner of the ticket in your possession.
- Staff Members must have their Staff Shirts. No exceptions! It must be a current staff shirt as this is also checked.
PLEASE MAKE A NOTE!!!!!!! The day of JUNE JAM 6/19/2010, due to the amount of people in attendance, the public bath houses in the campground and the swimming pool WILL BE CLOSED!! Port o-potties are provided during the show. After the show (around 11:30 pm) the bath house will reopen
Everyone strives to making camping safe and fun for everyone involved!!!
