13:1 was formed Christmas of 08. We started a few months before basically toying with some band and genre ideas. We didn't have a singer at that time, so our bass player PJ wanted to give it a shot. We then found a prodigy 16 whose true identity is still unknown but we like to call him Brandon. Once these two pieces of the puzzle were matched, we became... 13:1

But Like Most Bands after about 7 months of playing, we took a small hit with the loss of our drummer John K. So we had a good friend of ours Justin Mayhorn from D.T.C. to Step in and Record the Drums on the upcoming album. Then we took an even bigger hit when our good friend and bass player Brandon told us he was leaving the band. Well after a few hard weeks on trying to cancel the thought that this band was going to die, we came across a local drummer from Smyrna, DE... "Allen Siembida". Allen fit right in, and is the new 13:1 Drummer. After Trying out a few Bass Players we found a local bassist from Dover, DE... "Shannon Ouimet". Just like Allen did, She fit right in. She is the new 13:1 Bassist.

13:1 has been around for about a year now, went through some tough times, but we've rebuilt, found two new awesome people, and were going to be coming out harder and stronger then before...
