Based out of Philadelphia - BONEHEAD is: Daryl Updike Drums, Jeff Camarco Bass,
Mike Arellano Guitar, Jayy Mannon Vocals
Jason Mannon truly began his professional musical career during his years fronting the very popular Philadelphia area nightclub band, Bonehead. Throughout much of the 90s and into the new millennium, Jayy could be found perfecting his vocals and performance style in one packed, smoky bar after another. During these years he also began to explore the other side of his artistry that of a songwriter. As Bonehead began to mix in a few of his early writing efforts into their play lists, favorable audience reaction soon pointed the band in another direction completely. The nightclub business became a means to an end as more and more of Jayys music worked its way into their shows. Slowly and without fanfare, Jayys music and his reputation as a serious songwriter grew. An EP debut CD was met with great local success and was followed by even wider popularity with the groups second indie offering, Fade. As the success of this record spilled beyond the borders of the Philly area, national attention was finally focused on Jayys music. In early 2001, legendary producer Don Gehman (John Mellencamp, REM, Hootie & The Blowfish) was so impressed with Jayys songs, he immediately offered the band a recording contract with MCA Records. Bonehead soon became Familiar 48 and headed to Los Angeles for an extensive and exhausting 3-month recording period. Those efforts yielded Wonderful Nothing - an album whose poignant reflections on lost loves and the possibility of hope in the darkest moments touched a chord wherever it was heard. Its first single, The Question debuted as most added track at both Active Rock and Hot AC radio - a very rare feat in the record industry. Touring the country in support of this record added another dimension to Jayys ever widening experience as a musician. Based back home again in Philadelphia , Jayy begins to embark on a new chapter in his career that of a solo artist. Writing once again with Bonehead / F-48 guitarist and longtime songwriting collaborator Kevin Hug, brings the perfect atmosphere for renewed creativity. Bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience and subtle artistry to his new music, Jayy looks forward to communicating with his audience on an even more personal level. Even a casual listener to his songs knows that wont be difficult to achieve

Although not a household name, Johnny Neel is a Grammy award nominee recognized in the music world for his work with the Allman Brothers, Lonnie Mack and Gov't Mule, among others. In addition to his soulful vocals, harp, piano and B-3 proficiency, Johnny is an accomplished songwriter whose tunes have been recorded by the likes of the Allman Brothers, Joe Louis Walker, John Mayall, Irma Thomas, Ann Peebles, Marie Osmond, the Oak Ridge Boys and Travis Tritt.

Born and Raised in Wilmington, Delaware, Johnny Neel cut his first single at the age of twelve, as Johnny Neel and The Shapes Of Soul. As an adult, the Johnny Neel Band had a strong following up and down the East Coast and released two well-received independent albums. Neel moved to Nashville, the premiere song writing city, in 1984, where he immediately became recognized as an "A" session studio player. Others began to notice Neel’s songwriting talent and decided to take advantage by recording his songs on their albums.

Performing with various bands in area clubs drew the attention of former Nashville resident Dickey Betts, who asked Neel to join his road band, and begin working on Dickey's solo LP for Epic Records. That relationship led to seven cuts on the "Pattern Disruptive" LP including the Top 10 AOR hit, "Rock Bottom." Neel's talented keyboard and harp playing on that album convinced Gregg Allman to ask Neel to tour with his road band.

Neel decided to join the reunited Allman Brothers Band, immersing himself in a successful tour, which led to a number one AOR smash hit during the summer of 1990. Car radios all across America blasted "Good Clean Fun", from the Seven Turns Album, co-written by Neel with Allman and Betts. The chart topping hit provided the reunited Allmans with their highest charting single since "Ramblin' Man" fifteen years prior.

Following that tour, Neel released "Late Night Breakfast", which was recorded at his studio, Straight Up Sound Studio, with the members of his band, "The Last Word", and special guests such as Shane Theriot (The Neville Brothers), Rick Vito (Fleetwood Mac) and Wayne Jackson (The Memphis Horns). This record was released on Neel’s label, Breakin’ Records, which showcased his pleading vocals as well as brilliant piano, B-3 and harp work. During that same period of time the recordings were made, Neel also became a member of Blue Floyd, a premiere jam band with variations on the material of Pink Floyd. In addition to Neel, the band was comprised of Marc Ford (Black Crowes), Matt Abts (Gov't Mule), Berry Oakley, Jr. (OKB Band) and until his recent and unfortunate demise, Allen Woody (Gov't Mule). Neel and Abts then went into the Straight Up Sound Studio and recorded the X2 project which was graciously received by fans and the media.

More recently, some of Neel penned songs have been recorded by Travis Tritt, Montgomery Gentry and Delbert Mc Clinton. Neel is also excited about his latest release on Breakin’ Records titled Gun Metal Blue, which was release in April, 2004. As a man with boundless energy, Neel still manages to juggle studio work, local club gigs, road work and hit song writing, and somehow between the chaos maintains his sanity. “They say that you can’t do it all; Hell, I’m trying to prove ‘em wrong.” - Johnny Neel.

Smokin' Gunnz playing the 2012 June Jam

With nearly 12 years in the band's history, and almost 3 years with it's current line up, Smokin' Gunnz has become one of the East Coast's premiere Southern Rock tribute acts. Acclaimed for their ability to recreate the sound of some of Southern Rock's most respected artists, the four members of Smokin' Gunnz have road tested and honed their sound to a level of perfection that their growing legion of loyal fans have come to expect. Keeping with the grand tradition of the Great Southern Sound, all the while planting a foot firmly in the future, the Gunnz have begun to carve out their own place in the long, proud heritage of this unique genre of American Music with the addition of their much anticipated original recordings. Whether paying homage to the forefathers who blazed a trail before them or creating their own musical offerings, one listen to this group of seasoned professionals will tell you all you need to know about their dedication to their craft.

Robert Morris: Drums, Lead Vocals
Ever since he first climbed behind a drum kit at the age of 5, Bob has maintained a dedication to music that is unlikely to diminish in the near future. Being brought up in a household of musicians including both parents and all of his 4 brothers will have that effect on a person., Bobs dad also started him singing at age 4. After becoming acquainted with his Ludwig's over the next several years he spent his time refining his skills by playing and singing in a long list of local and regional acts including Central Pa's The Morris Brothers Band, which showcased all of the brother's musical talents. Bob's love for music would eventually take him all the way to Hollywood, California in the summer of 2000 to be featured on a nationally televised, pre-"Idol" talent search.

Often referred to as "the busiest guy on stage", Bob has found his place in the world not only as the singer but also the drummer of Smokin' Gunnz for the last 12 years. When he's not behind the drums, Bob likes to spend his time riding his motorcycle, hangin' with his grand daughter and writing music with the boy's in the band. Life is good...

Terry Sherry: Bass , Back-up Vocals
As the charismatic bass player for the band with a style all his own, "Shaggy", as he's known by those who know him best, brings the thunder and the groove to the stage every time he plugs in. With an impressive list of bands from the heavier side of the musical universe to his credit, Terry found a home in Smokin' Gunnz in 2002 and a kinship that he shares with Bob as the other half of the rhythmic engine that drives the sound of the band. Normally a man of few words, Shag can usually be found mixin' it up with the ladies on the dance floor or stirring the crowd into a frenzy from atop a table or bar.

When he's not shakin' the foundation, Shag spends his time kickin' back, riding his motorcycle and catching up on the latest that the SciFi Channel has to offer.

Chris Della Porta: Lead/Rhythm Guitar, Vocals
Ever since he picked up his first guitar at the age of 12, Chris has rarely set it down without damn good reason. Playing music in his school band and learning how to sing in the choir were also reasons why he never let the idea of becoming a professional musician get too far out of reach. Now, as a five year veteran of Smokin' Gunnz, and one half of it's guitar slingin' team that distinguishes itself every time the band takes the stage, the idea that a young man once had is now a reality.

With a playing style that showcases his Southern and Yankee roots, and vocals that add to the power of this fiery four piece, Chris's stage presence will demand your attention and keep you coming back for more.

When he's not doing the one thing that he's never given up on he can usually be found fixing guitars at his day job, riding his Harley or hangin' out at home getting new ideas for dinner from the Food Network.

Mike Brady: Lead & Rhythm Guitars, Back-up Vocals
Mike was born and raised in York County, got his first guitar in 1969 at age twelve and hasn't put it down since. By the time he was sixteen he was playing lead guitar in a local oldies/country band, playing VFW's, American legions, carnivals, and every little bar in south central Pa.

Age eighteen found Mike starting a four year enlistment in the US Navy. Stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, he had a first hand introduction to the major southern rock acts throughout the mid to late seventies. With a love of southern rock etched in his soul he came out of the Navy and joined a regional southern rock band from York called Amberjack. He stayed with Amberjack 'till the late eighties playing all over Pennsylvania and Maryland. Figuring it was time for a change Mike joined Disorderly Conduct, also from York. After six years with Disorderly Conduct it was time for another change.

Mike figured it was time to start writing and recording some of his original songs. In 2005 Mike recorded an original acoustic cd and played acoustic shows around York. In mid 2006 he saw an ad for a guitar player for Smokin' Gunnz. It was time to get back to his roots and kick out the southern rock once again! The fit was perfect... Smokin' Gunnz is a well oiled southern rock machine and Mike is a seasoned veteran having played the last 35 years in various bands with a variety of styles. Mike supplies the slide guitar that is necessary for many southern rock songs. On some evenings you can even see him use assorted bottles for slide. This is a sight indeed! Sometimes a beer bottle, sometimes a glass, but his favorite is the Jim Beam Black bottle.

All in all this is a match made in kick-ass-southern-rock'n'roll heaven and a band you'll have to see, and hear, over and over again, to believe....

Thirteen to One Playing at the 2012 June Jam in Houston Delaware

13:1 was formed Christmas of 08. We started a few months before basically toying with some band and genre ideas. We didn't have a singer at that time, so our bass player PJ wanted to give it a shot. We then found a prodigy 16 whose true identity is still unknown but we like to call him Brandon. Once these two pieces of the puzzle were matched, we became... 13:1

But Like Most Bands after about 7 months of playing, we took a small hit with the loss of our drummer John K. So we had a good friend of ours Justin Mayhorn from D.T.C. to Step in and Record the Drums on the upcoming album. Then we took an even bigger hit when our good friend and bass player Brandon told us he was leaving the band. Well after a few hard weeks on trying to cancel the thought that this band was going to die, we came across a local drummer from Smyrna, DE... "Allen Siembida". Allen fit right in, and is the new 13:1 Drummer. After Trying out a few Bass Players we found a local bassist from Dover, DE... "Shannon Ouimet". Just like Allen did, She fit right in. She is the new 13:1 Bassist.

13:1 has been around for about a year now, went through some tough times, but we've rebuilt, found two new awesome people, and were going to be coming out harder and stronger then before...
