39th Annual June Jam
Time and Stage to be announced soon.
JUNE JAM's Played: 35th 34th 33rd 32nd

Thirteen to 1 – 13:1 is a JUNE JAM fan favorite 5 piece powerhouse from the heart of Delaware, and they are quickly taking surrounding states by storm. With all original music, their “unique” sound of heavy, unprocessed and completely “raw” tones bring a breath of fresh air into a scene primarily dominated by cover bands. Having played large venues like “Trocadero Theatre”, “Texas Rockfest” and JUNE JAM several times, 13:1 are not strangers to our stage and exhibit amazing stage presence. The band has opened for such national acts as “Craving Lucy” and “Black Water Rising”.  13:1’s unwavering fortitude and no nonsense attitude have them set on full speed ahead. They show absolute professionalism and showmanship while they rock the house! A high energy show from start to finish. This is a don’t miss band who puts their pedal to the metal!

This is the first time we have ever had a tie in the decorating contest!!

The winners of the 2016 Camping Site Decorating Contest:

Site G-1 – Tye-Dye 60’s theme decorations. The tapestries were all tie-died by hand.
Site 122 – Skeleton at the pool. The name of the Skeleton fella eludes us right now, but we were told he goes with the family on all of their adventures.

Both sites received 2 JUNE JAM t-shirts.

This JUNE JAM has been declared a Straw Hat Day.

We lost one of our staff members at the end of November. Edwin “Surf” Smith. He was our cook. He was our friend.

So, in Surf’s honor, many of the staff will be wearing straw hats as Surf always had his straw hat when he was cooking.

Monday 10am @ veterans Memorial on S. Little Creek Rd across from I HOP a long sought after Vietnam era Huey med-vac helicopter will be presented to the memorial and VVA Chapter 850. This chopper saw action in Vietnam as well as the desert. THIS IS SO HUGE. The chopper will be on site for 1 hr then taken to be painted up and permanently placed @ the memorial at a latter date. You cant just go out and get one of these bad boys so a very special thank you goes out to Paul Davis and those who helped get it to Dover. 5 guys went 950 miles to get the bird and it is on a rig coming to Dover as we speak. From what I was told it was a very emotional trip especially when the Vets picked out the “One”. I think we should get that bad boy flying, pick up Joe Start at his house and land at the memorial LOL! Come check it out!!! Going to be incredible!
